Love is used so much,
Without a thought or two
What does he really mean
When he says, “I love you”
How does he know he loves me?
Does he really know what it means?
Maybe he said it too quickly
Do his words go with what I’ve seen?
I don’t know what will happen
The next time he says that
The next time he says, “I love you”
I might not say it back!
